Center for Sleep Medicine :

Hôpital de la Croix-Rousse – Hôpital Pierre Wertheimer

The Center for Sleep Medicine welcomes 15 patients daily for a wide range of diagnostic procedures, including polysomnography, vido-polysomnography, polygraphy, daytime vigilance tests, prolonged sleep recordings, actigraphy, and circadian rhythm assessments. It offers multidisciplinary care for a broad spectrum of sleep disorders, including hypersomnolence, sleep-related respiratory disorders, parasomnias, motor sleep disorders, circadian rhythm disturbances, and insomnia. In collaboration with the Pierre Wertheimer Neurological Hospital, the department is involved in the management of sleep disorders associated with neurological conditions such as epilepsy, stroke, and neurodegenerative or inflammatory diseases. The department is recognized as a Reference Centre for Narcolepsy and Rare Hypersomnias, and is affiliated with the National Reference Centre for Neuromuscular Diseases for the management of sleep-related respiratory disorders.
